FOREST VALLEY OUTDOOR EDUCATION CENTRE

Forest Valley Outdoor Education Centre is one of ten outdoor education centres within the Toronto District School Board, where students have the opportunity to engage and connect with the natural world.

All school year, classes choose from our many exemplary outdoor experiences such as mapping as a life skill, art activities, investigating new spring plants and other curriculum based programs.  Overall, more than 17,000 students from over 150 schools visit Forest Valley O. E.C. every year for experiential outdoor education learning in action!

Students also have a unique opportunity to develop self awareness and create valuable connections with nature.  Programs are created in collaboration with visiting teachers to deepen the outdoor experience and facilitate meaningful follow up activities back in the classroom.
